A 6 week (one time a week) program designed to improve a child's handwriting skills. These motor skills may have a direct effect on your child's overall motor skills and can carry over into many other daily activities. The Occupational Therapist works with each child in the group to develop a program that you can work on at home.

Lets Start Talking/Lets Keep Talking
A series of 6 week (one time a week) therapies where you are directly involved in activities with your child. You and other parents have an opportunity to share experiences and develop skills which will help your child build social interaction with peers.

Feeding Program
Children identified with oral sensory or tactile issues which may result in failure to thrive or just very picky eaters are seen in small groups where you learn techniques to reduce sensitivity, plan a more productive eating time and select foods which your child will learn to manage.

Social Skills
Children of various age and skill levels learn to identify inappropriate behaviors and develop socially acceptable behaviors in their place. Children identified with Asperger's Syndrome will especially benefit from involvement in this program.

The Center is continually assessing our community's needs for development of new programs. If you have ideas for new programs for groups of children not being served, please give us a call and share your idea with us.
